Generals gives its orders through a held letter and a left-click: A for attack-move, G to guard, Ctrl to force fire, and Alt-clicks chain waypoints. E grabs every unit of the same kind on screen (twice for the whole map) and Q every fighting unit, while the bare arrow keys step through your units and dozers — Zero Hour later moved that onto Ctrl. F1–F8 store camera bookmarks and the number keys hold groups. Taken from the keyboard reference in EA's retail manual.
